High‑speed mixing granulators are widely used in the mixing of powder materials and granules in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, chemical, and light industry.
The mixing and granulating process is completed in the same container of the granulator. Due to the stirring of the impeller, the powder material in the fixed conical container remains in a semi‑fluid and rolling state, and is thoroughly mixed. After the addition of the binder, the powder material gradually becomes finer, the wet granules become moist, and the shape starts to change. The inner wall of the container and the powder material become loose and soft. Through the action of the granule forming slurry , the soft material gradually turns into fine, moist granules of the same size.
